Metro 2033: Walkthrough → The Top
The elevator took us straight to the top. We now seemed to float above this world. It was all in the palm of my hand… And as if its fate depended on me. And I will do everything in my power. I will install the guidance system… So I thought. But one proposes, another disposes.
At the top, after a minor elevator accident, Melnik and I will find ourselves on different levels. He will be higher. And we need to get to him.
As soon as we start climbing, a demon will attack us, and we’ll need to hide in the elevator cabin; it won’t reach us there. After the demon flies away, we’ll continue climbing. When we find Miller, he’ll be seriously injured by a flying monster. We’ll kill the demon, and then we’ll have to continue the climb on our own.
We’ll have to climb over broken ladders and catwalks, over pieces of wire, and constantly teetering on the brink of collapse. But we’ll reach our goal and install the guidance system, no matter what.
Once the system is installed, we’ll need to hold out for a minute before the missiles launch. We’ll end up in Delirium.
