Khan was an amazing person, not much like other people. Not even much like a person at all. I’d rather call him… a magician… But there are no such things.
We’re back in the subway tunnel. In a few moments, we’ll see a glowing orb, like ball lightning, appear from around the bend; they call it the Anomaly. It’s extremely dangerous and burns away all living things in its path.
It won’t harm us. Once the ball flies away, we’ll continue on our way. Soon, monsters will attack us. At first, we’ll shoot back, but then, when there are a lot of them, we’ll hear the sound of the approaching anomaly again. And soon, we’ll see its full power. The ball will fly through the tunnel, and all the creatures will die. We’re lucky.
We climb into the door of the car from which the anomaly emerged. We’ll walk through the car and, after a few meters, we’ll find a handcar, on which we’ll continue our journey at breakneck speed.
We were supposed to reach Turgenevskaya soon. This station is considered cursed. Everyone who could escape from there long ago.
