Fallout: New Vegas Perks – Level 8

Scary Man – In some cases, you gain the ability to intimidate a crowd of opponents through conversation and send them fleeing.

Requirement: Speech 70. Ranks: 1. ID: 0010c6cd.

Hoarder – You’ve learned to pack things neatly. Items weighing 2 or less weigh half as much for you. 

Requirements: Intelligence 5, Barter 70. Ranks: 1. ID: 0014609b.

Quick Reaction – With the Quick Reaction perk, you draw and sheath your weapon 50% faster. 

Requirements: Dexterity 5. Ranks: 1. ID: 001377fe.

Stonewall – You gain +5 damage threshold when an enemy attacks with a melee weapon or unarmed, and you cannot be knocked down in combat. 

Requirements: Stamina 6, Strength 6. Ranks: 1. ID: 00165449.

Strong Backbone – With the “Strong Backbone” perk, you can carry 50 pounds more. 

Requirements: Strength 5, Stamina 5. Ranks: 1. ID: 00031dde.

Practical Anatomy – Knowledge of Practical Anatomy allows you to see the health and damage threshold of any opponent. It also grants you a 5% damage bonus when fighting humans and ghouls (but not feral ghouls). 

Requirements: Medicine 70. Ranks: 1. ID: 00146099.

Rad Resistance – Rad Resistance allows you, surprise surprise, to resist radiation. This ability adds 25% to your radiation resistance. 

Requirements: Survival 40, Endurance 5. Ranks: 1. ID: 00031da9.

Cowboy – You deal 25% more damage when using revolvers, lever-action firearms, dynamite, knives, or hatchets. 

Requirements: Weapon 45, Melee 45. Rank: 1. ID: 00138562.


Commando – Your accuracy in VATS when firing a rifle (or similar two-handed weapon) is significantly increased. 

Requirements: -. Rank: 1. ID: 00099828.

Super Strike – You gain a chance to knock your opponent to the ground when using a melee weapon (except throwing weapons) or when unarmed. 

Requirements: Strength 6, Melee 45. Ranks: 1. ID: 0014609e.

Freeloader – With the Freeloader perk, you find significantly more ammo in crates than without it. 

Requires: 5 Luck. Ranks: 1. ID: 00031daa.

Perks in Fallout: New Vegas: (4), (6), (8), (10), (12), (14-16), (18-28).
