Stalker: Clear Sky → Ammo (Part 2)

9×39 PAB-9 – The SP-5 subsonic “sniper” cartridge features a bimetallic jacketed bullet. The cavity behind the steel core is filled with lead. It requires a suppressor to ensure silent firing. Distributed in Warsaw Pact countries.

9×39 SP-6 – The subsonic “machine gun” cartridge, the SP-6, features a semi-jacketed bullet with a partially exposed hardened steel core. It requires a suppressor to ensure silent firing. It is widely used in Warsaw Pact countries and is effective against body armor.

7.62 7N1 – An inexpensive standard 7.62mm cartridge. Due to its design, it is not well-suited for sniper rifles and is used as ammunition for the RP-74 machine gun.

12×70 – A standard 12-gauge cartridge loaded with 6mm shot. It offers tremendous killing and stopping power at close range. It is intended for use with shotguns only.

The 12×76 Zhekan is a 12-gauge cartridge with a jacketless bullet. Typically used for hunting large game, it is also suitable for other purposes: its heavy bullet does not penetrate, but actually crushes, body armor.

12×76 Dart – A dart-like bullet. The fletching stabilizes the bullet, increasing accuracy. The bullet’s massive steel body is capable of penetrating any body armor.

7.62×54 7N14 – A specially developed 7.62mm sniper cartridge. The bullet features a steel core. Compared to a standard cartridge of the same caliber, it offers improved ballistic characteristics and increased penetration.

7.62×54 7N14 BP – A cheap-to-manufacture 7.62mm machine gun cartridge. Due to its design, it is not suitable for sniper rifles and is used only in the RP-74 machine gun.

EMI batteries are high-capacity energy cells. They are used as a power source for the EM1 electromagnetic rifle prototype.

The VOG-25 is a fragmentation grenade for the GP-25 “Koster” underbarrel grenade launcher; it is also used in the Grom-S14 system and the Bulldog-6 grenade launcher. The effective fragmentation radius is approximately 5 meters.

The OG-7V is a high-explosive anti-personnel grenade. When used with the RPG-7u launcher, it can engage enemies in cover at ranges greater than those of a hand grenade.

The M209 is a 40mm grenade for the M203 underbarrel grenade launcher. Its effective fragmentation radius is approximately 5 meters. It can also be used with the integrated grenade launcher of the FT-200M system.
