In my opinion, this class is the most difficult to learn, but the most powerful at higher levels. Early on, you might find yourself selling your last shoes just to buy Mana Bottles and somehow manage to hit enemies, but once you’ve leveled up and acquired some devastating AoE spells, you can lay waste to enemies in droves.
And with the teleport spell, you’ll forget what it’s like to walk, what walls, obstacles, etc. are—powered-up mages dart across the map with lightning speed using the teleport spell. Where should you invest your stat points? Magic and only magic. Upgrade all the other stats later, when you’re rich in bottles.
