At night, he is perceived by pigs as a campfire, glowing from lightning strikes. When struck by lightning, nearby resources and buildings catch fire.
Upon death, he loses all upgrades; half of the gears used are dropped from his corpse. He can survive an entire night without power in the rain, as he will glow from sparks.
In the video about the “Strange New Abilities” update, WX-78 can be seen smiling slightly, which may indicate that he is not fully robotic (also evidenced by the lightning striking his body).
Judging by his remarks, the only creatures he doesn’t despise are birds.

Interesting facts
- WX-78 can be revived using a meat dummy.
- The specification specifies an operating temperature of 0° to 70° and low relative humidity (otherwise, sensitive microcircuits will begin to wear out).
- About the science machine, WX-78 says: “MOTHER?”
- When clicking on the alchemy machine or the temperature meter, it says: “HELLO, FRIEND” and when clicking on the rain meter: “WELCOME, BROTHER”.
- Some people think that this character is unbalanced. There is a mod that changes the mechanics of the game for him.
