After visiting the fourth level of the labyrinth, you can receive this curious quest after speaking with Griswold. The blacksmith will tell you that some time ago, unknown black riders, wearing cloaks that concealed their faces, traveled past Tristram.
Rumor has it they possessed a stone remarkable for its magical properties, but for unknown reasons it was lost. Griswold speculates it could be found in the catacombs.
On the 5th level of the labyrinth, if you search carefully, you can find a small pedestal with a mysterious stone on it. Bring it to Griswold, and he’ll happily reward you with a unique ring.
