Okay, so the electromagnetic rifle is clear. The shooter doesn’t need to be killed, but rather stripped of his shielding psi-helmet. But why did they hand me this huge idiot with an underbarrel grenade launcher and a ballistic computer? Did the writers and designers really think I’d gotten this far with a Makarov pistol? Although, in reality, even a Makarov pistol wouldn’t be of much use here.
We watch a video insert showing a criminal, framed by snaking lightning bolts, rushing headlong toward Unit 4 along a heating main viaduct. Our task is to quickly crouch and fire sixteen precise shots at him. Yes, we have another health bar at our disposal (most likely not Strelok’s, but his electric pot on his head), which makes it very easy and convenient to monitor his progress.
The irony of the situation is that these sixteen shots are fired without moving, as Strelok is clearly playing along and is in no particular hurry.
