Option 1: If we stay in the car and don’t go through the portal, we’ll remain free, but the G-Man will teleport us to a Marine planet where it’s impossible to survive.
Option 2: If we exit the car, te G-Man will recruit us for the next mission, which will take place in Half-Life 2.
After winning, we’ll automatically teleport to a monorail car hurtling through space. Here, the mysterious G-Man will speak with us. He’ll show us the consequences of our experiment and the ensuing adventure. Finally, he’ll offer us a job with him.
