Don’t Starve Walkthrough → Biomes (Savannah)
Large and yellow, as if covered with a layer of hay. It occupies vast spaces and sometimes seems endless. Beefalo live only in this biome, but they don’t like to live in steppes smaller than 25 tiles. In this biome, it’s very convenient to make a fire pit near a herd of Beefalo, not far from rabbit holes.
The former will provide good protection from many threats, including cyclops, and several traps at the entrance to the holes will provide provisions.
