Open-air cinema “Moonlight”
A pre-war outdoor movie theater, serving as a gathering place for mutants attacking the Big City. A nearby trailer usually hides several mutants, a couple of whom are heavily armed, and a centaur.
Big City
A settlement with nine inhabitants north of Vault 101, next to the Moonlight outdoor movie theater. It is inhabited by former residents of Little Lamplight , who turned 16 and were expelled from the children’s settlement. A section of Washington, D.C., suburban neighborhood lined with single-family homes has been transformed into a fortified stronghold due to constant raids by Slavers and mutants.
The houses are protected by walls constructed from rusted car hulks (like Junktown in the first Fallout), barbed wire, and sandbags. The only access to the city is via a mined bridge. Trophies: “Therapeutic Journal of the District of Columbia” (on a table in Red’s clinic), “Lucky Ball #8” (for saving Timebomb’s life after fending off a mutant attack).
The latter is a direct descendant of the Magic 8 Ball from the second Fallout and an allusion to the film Route 66.
