Metro 2033: Walkthrough → Underground
All the chaos of the tunnels couldn’t penetrate this mighty hermetic seal. The gate seemed unshakable… like the people walking with me.
We run after the squad, delving deeper and deeper into the dungeon. Moving towards our goal.
When we reach the gate, we’ll pull the switch, and it will open. Beyond the gate, we’ll find a terrible darkness filled with a multitude of massive creatures. They’ll be crawling out from everywhere, and we’ll have to shoot almost constantly. It’s good that there are so many of us; it won’t be so scary.
Just when we’ve seemingly made it through the basements without breaking a sweat, another mutant will suddenly jump from the ceiling and kill one of our men—Boris.
Another man died helping us. How many more casualties will there be and are they needed, but there’s nowhere to retreat. Only forward. Bowing to Boris’s courage, we continue on our way. Again, the Cave.
