Light Weapons (Shotguns) | Fallout 2

Fallout 2 Walkthrough → Light Weapons (Shotguns)

A combat shotgun is distinguished by its magazine placement behind the trigger (the so-called “bullpup” system). A combat shotgun is an all-metal weapon, specifically designed to retain the stopping power of a shotgun while eliminating the need to reload after every two shots. It is capable of firing in bursts. It is one of the most powerful “small guns.”

The H&K CAWS is especially useful in close combat. The magazine placement behind the trigger makes the gun shorter and more comfortable to use, while still leaving the barrel long enough for accuracy and good bullet acceleration.

Pancor Jackhammer – despite its name, this shotgun is quite easy to control, even during automatic fire. Thanks to the magazine located behind the trigger, the Pancor Jackhammer is a well-balanced and easy-to-control weapon.

The double-barreled Winchester “Widowmaker”– shotgun features a short barrel and a mahogany stock. This type of weapon is very common.
