Terraria Wiki → Martian Invasion
It can be triggered by killing the Golem. After the event starts, the message “Martians are invading!” appears in chat, and flying saucers begin to appear in the background. However, the event agents themselves (as with the Goblin Invasion and Pirate Invasion) will only appear in the central part of the map.
All event agents, except the flying saucer, turret, and drone, have a chance to drop Martian Conductive Plates (8-20 from a single enemy).
