Fallout: New Vegas Walkthrough -> Boulder City
Head northeast toward the marker towards Boulder City. If you’re traveling along the road, be prepared for a bandit attack. While they’re not particularly threatening, they’re still a threat. Sooner or later, you’ll reach the ruins of Boulder City. Near the city, you’ll find Rad Scorpions and their minions, capable of posing a serious threat at the initial level.
In the city, you’ll discover that the NCR has surrounded a group of Great Khans. As usual, you’ll have a choice: either execution or persuasion. If you choose persuasion, you’ll have to enter the encirclement and speak with the leader of the Khans. With a properly leveled conversation, convince the Khans to release the hostages and convince Lieutenant Monroe, who’s standing outside, that no one wants bloodshed.
If you prefer to take the offensive, you can hide around a corner and pick off the Khans while they’re busy fighting the NCR. Once you’re in the building with Jessup, head out and use VATS.
Pick up a note from his body, which will unlock a new quest: Chairman Job Offer. Regardless of your decision, the quest “They Went That Way” ends. Here you’ll receive a new quest: Ring-Ding-Ding, which will take you to Freeside.
