Brandenburg lies on the south bank of the Ohio, and was a popular destination in the steamboat era, a relic of which is the recently docked PS Delilah. But an illustrious past doesn’t mean this is a backwards-looking town.
While still recovering from the effects of a tornado in April, the town boasts the sprawling Pondview Shopping Center, and the old fire chief’s Five Alarm Firehouse Chili draws spice-seekers from across the state!
