Ammo (Part 1) | Stalker: Call of Pripyat

Posted on August 6, 2026 by admin

Stalker: Call of Pripyat → Ammo (Part 1)

The ammo are changed from regular to armor-piercing with the letter Y, and the grenade launcher mode is changed with the letter V, respectively.

9×18 – this round has a steel core and lead jacket concealed beneath its metal jacket. It offers good stopping power but is ineffective against body armor.

The 9×18 +P+ is a ammo with a bullet with enhanced stopping power, where the European designation +P+ denotes “very high barrel pressure.” Compared to a standard ammo, the bullet velocity is increased by a third. It is ineffective against body armor.

The 9×19 FMJ is a standard 9x19mm ammo with a jacketed bullet. It offers good ballistic performance and is inexpensive to manufacture, which has led to its widespread use. It is ineffective against body armor.

The 9×19 JHP is a hollow-point, semi-jacketed bullet with high stopping power and low ricochet resistance. It is used primarily as a police round and in civilian personal defense weapons. It is ineffective against body armor.

The .45 ACP , a .45 caliber ammo with a jacketed bullet, has remained popular for over a hundred years. The heavy bullet, with a relatively weak propellant charge, flies at a moderate speed but delivers significant stopping power.

The .45 Hydro is a non-standard ammo for the .45 ACP caliber—a jacketed hollow-point bullet with a steel core. This combination of a jacketed hollow-point bullet and an armor-piercing bullet offers both the advantages and disadvantages of both types.

The 12×70 dr is a standard 12-gauge ammo loaded with 6mm shot. At close range, it delivers tremendous lethal and stopping power. It is intended for use with shotguns only.

The 12×76 ZhK is a 12-gauge ammo with a jacketless bullet. It’s typically used for hunting large game, but is also suitable for other purposes: its heavy bullet doesn’t penetrate, but actually crushes, body armor.
